A Little More About Me

Ok, so I know everyone of you that came to my site came to know a little bit more about myself did you not?  Ok, so here you go, here is a little more about me.  This may be a repeat of something said before, but you'll just have to live with that possibillity.

I grew up in a small town in Wisconsin called St. Nazianz.  I have lived there my entire life, never anywhere else.  I love the small town live, and wish I could stay there forever, which would be completely ideal.  I went to school at Valders High School, which was a nice little place to go.  As much as I loved Valders and all that was there, there was a little bit that was left to be desired.  Firstly, as a small school, we did have our share of drugs that went around.  As much as everybody liked to turn away from it, it still went on, people got caught, people got expelled, greatness I think.  We had our share of the clowns.  We had the funniest guys at our school.  Not every school has a guy who pulls up in a car completely covered in astro turf.  Guys who lit a mini bike on fire, had it right underneath their jump, and had rocks being thrown at it as they went over, just to have flames spit up to them while they went over.  It was great.

I had the best teachers ever too.  Teachers were actually able to care about their students, they were able to take the extra time and go the extra mile for their students, for they knew every single one of them, they knew actually cared.  They help you plan for your future, and give you guidance, even if you are far out of high school.

Ok, I have 2 other brothers, one older, one younger.  Christopher is two years older than I am, he attends UW-Whitewater.  He is planning on being a spanish teacher, or something like that.  To be honest, his "lifeplan" changes everyother day.  He has a great website, check it out under the links page, if I ever get that to work.  My younger brother is Joseph.  Otherwise called Joe, Joey, or my favorite, Slim.  Slim is two years younger than me, and is currently a senior at Valders.  He does football and swims.  Oh yeah, the thing we all have in common, swimming.  We all are lifeguards and WSI teachers.  Joe and I teach at Valders and Chris does the Manitowoc Rec dept. and some place in Janesville.

Ok, so I love sports.  Sports is my obsession.  I love to play, watch, listen, or even announce sports.  This past summer I announced for all the softball games that go on at the Valders Upper Diamond.  I swim, or at least I try to.  I am always up for a basketball game, football game, baseball game.  I love sports, like I said.  I play basketball at UWSP all the time, and love watching all the Pointer Basketball games.  I swam for 10 years at Valders, and I played baseball, of some sort, for 14 years.  I know the game, and love the game.  Maybe, someday, I could become the next Bob Uker or official scorer for the Milwaukee Brewers Organization.

I am going to school for Paper Science.  Which means I take all the hard classes at Point.  I have Calc III, Organic Chem, Physics, and Intro to Chemical Engineering.  Yeah, sounds like a nice load of classes to me.  I am doing Pep Band again this year at Point.  I am telling you, this is one of the best things I could do.  It soooo relieves me from stress and lets me get out.  You meet many new peoples and make more friends this way.  Although I have a stalker in the band and Ricky thinks it is the funniest thing ever, well, it really isn't.  Right, so while attending UWSP, I work for the Red Cross teaching Swim lessons and lifeguarding.  Also, I work for the Paper Sci Dept. in the Paper Machine room.  We do process runs and class runs, and my job is to keep things clean, and to help keep things working.

If you feel the need to reach me now, knowing about me and my life and my future and dreams, drop me a line.  If you know my cell number, call that, otherwise, there is that invention called email.  sketer2004@hotmail.com.  That's right, that's how you can reach me.
